San Francisco Bay Area man rode around on tricycle selling ice cream, snacks, and, um, cocaine

Street vendor Victor Martinez-Diaz, 49, was well-known around a Santa Rosa, California neighborhood for riding his tricycle around selling ice cream, chicharrónes, snacks, and other items. Thing is, the other items included cocaine and methamphetamine. Police arrested Martinez-Diaz and two other men who allegedly "conspired together" to sell the drugs.

"His main location on W. 9th St where he conducted his legal and illegal business was very close to the Abraham Lincoln Elementary School," according to a police statement.

Detectives observed Martinez-Diaz enter a white van and drive away. Martinez-Diaz was stopped and detained pursuant to a search warrant. A search of Martinez-Diaz' vehicle revealed a street vendor bicycle, miscellaneous food items, approximately 2.5 ounces of suspected cocaine, 17 grams of suspected methamphetamine, US currency, a digital scale, and hundreds of small, plastic ziplok baggies."
