This silly alpaca has shimmied his way into my heart!

I can't get enough of a silly alpaca named Bake, who loves food so much that he shimmies every time he takes a bite. His perfect full-body shimmy after trying new foods — figs, carrots, peas, mango, kumquats, and so much more — is absolutely adorable, and has quickly helped catapult him to the top of my list of favorite internet animals.

You can see his mesmerizing moves for yourself, courtesy of his social media accounts. Here's a glorious shimmy compilation, which highlights his shimmy range and even includes an amazing slow-mo shimmy. He can even shimmy in mid-air, making him, as his human states, "pure magic," and even, as a viewer commented, "more magical than a unicorn." In addition to shimmying, Bake also has an affinity for sticking his tongue out — here, you can see his glorious (and gloriously silly) teeth and tongue. And, as a bonus, here's a great video that starts out with a Bake shimmy, but as a bonus turns into a terrific ASMR video of alpacas, goats, and chickens munching on baby corn.

Bake lives at Peppergrass Ranch, in Utah County, Utah, with his humans, Megan and Tyler, and a whole bunch of animal friends. His animal brothers and sisters include other alpacas as well as goats, chickens, and more. The animals all have BBQ-themed names because their human dad is from North Carolina. So, at the ranch you'll find Beans, Cornbread, Pickles, Pepsi, Macaroni, Cheese, Shake, Bake, and Cheddar. The alpacas Macaroni and Cheese are trained as therapy animals!

Learn more about Peppergrass Ranch on their website, and see more of Bake's shimmies on the ranch's Instagram.
