A cybersecurity researcher who runs Pentester.com sat down across from Tucker Carlson, opened a laptop, and read out Carlson's Social Security number, hunting licenses in Alaska, Oregon, and Virginia, his Florida driver's license, the signature pulled from a warranty deed in public records, his PO box, his current and old Harley plates, and the phone number he has used since 1995. You can watch it unfold in this clip from the Tucker Carlson Network podcast.
Carlson's reaction: "So that every mental patient in America has my phone number." Later, he added, "I keep my assets and gold coins buried in a place that only my children can identify," and "I DON'T WANT CREDIT. I DON'T LIKE MONEY LENDING. Period."
Most of what the researcher served up came from the National Public Data breach, which dumped about 2.8 billion records roughly 18 months ago.
Carlson's response: "We're going to need biometrics really soon. I mean, that's probably the point of this, right?"
