Old Radio Fun (home of public domain, DRM-free old radio plays) has just posted its free Christmas collection, which includes the radio play of "Its a Wonderful Life," some Jack Benny, a Dragnet episode called "Big Little Jesus" (!!), and plenty of other great stuff. Lovely hearthside listening! Link (Thanks, Shawn!)

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

If anyone wants to put these on their child’s FP3 player (Fisher Price) you will have to burn these to CD, and then download directly to the player. I hope this helps, there’s some really great stories here.

That’s nothing – check out these HUGE collections of Christmas radio that are being hosted on Archive.org. There are broadcasts of Lionel Barrymore (old man Potter from It’s a Wonderful Life) doing a great job as Scrooge, versions of Miracle on 34th Street (with Edmund Gween is Kris), Holiday Inn (with Bing Crosby), It’s a Wonderful Life (with Jimmy Stewart & Donna Reed), and ton more!
