  1. First off, when did we decide that simple kitchen activities such as peeling, chopping and boiling were too difficult for anyone but a Top Chef, or maybe an Iron Chef.

Its not hard to peel a potato, that Shamwow guy is hawking an dice thingie that you have to dice food to get into it and I saw a commercial the other day that had suggested cooking pasta in the microwave was far simpler than the impossible act of boiling it on the stove top.

My favorite melodrama is the black and white clip of a forlorn housewife struggling with a simple task such as straining water or painstakingly and unsuccessfully pressing a dull knife onto a piece of celery.

Secondly, I know its a personal preference, but I never peel a potatoe when I don’t have to. All the redeeming qualities of a spud belong in the peel, nutrition and tase, the rest is just filler carbs.

  2. Regarding the potato video – I would find it much easier to simply peel the potato than to have ice on hand to peel it that way.

  3. of the anti Obama peoples and the Juggalos.

The Juggalo video was meant to make them look bad, I suppose.. But at least if I had some facts to back me up, a juggalo would take my word for it rather than shout me down quoting Glen Beck.

Wasn’t Dawn Wells busted for possession several months ago?
