This is really cute, but I wonder if the dog actually enjoys dancing in that frilly skirt.

This lasted too long and was way more creepy than cute. I only feel sorry for the dog. Not amusing.

Does anyone know how the dog is called?

  • Smoobly

The dog enjoys having a job to do, doing it well, pleasing hir human, and being rewarded. That the job entails dancing around in a frilly skirt is purely incidental.

    Good dog!

i absolutely loved this. It was wonderful! I keep watching it. I think I want to take Mergengue lesson from this dog!
Also, the dog and this owner/trainer have to have an absolutely excellent relationship.
    Amazing! Too cute!

There are more serious concerns than the costume. Dogs aren’t supposed to stand on their hind legs. It’s not difficult to imagine the damage that is inflicted on their joints and subsequent pain from doing this repeatedly over years. Simply because we can train dogs to do this doesn’t mean we should for mere human amusement.

  • TheVoBRX

Sorry, there was a dog in that video? All I saw was a very attractive young lady sitting between two older men in suits.

Spanish-language television wouldn’t be complete without the obligatory hot babe hostess. God bless Telemundo and Univision!

  • Jerril

That dog is, in fact, having a ball while doing that dance. She’s got a relaxed, amused face, and a happy/excited tail wag going on. She probably likes being the center of attention.

But Libraryboi is right, there are long term consequences for her that aren’t apparent right now. It’s like ballet dancing in humans – an unnatural movement that causes early joint degeneration and lifelong arthritis.

  • dainel

The skirt is too revealing. It didn’t cover her properly.

Of course he is, he is smiling. The real danger isn’t joint problems but when they all start to rise up and overthrow their human overlords

  • tmccartney

Is one of the observers Sofia Vergara?

  • jmullan

@dainel Agreed! It’s time to stop hypersexualizing young golden retrievers. Wait, how old is she in dog years?

  • Kibble

I find this astonishing. That dog had clearly memorized many discrete steps in the routine. It demonstrates an ability to memorize and plan on a level I never dreamed a dog could be capable of.

    • singingdragon

The dog actually wouldn’t have to plan much. The trainer is pretty clearly leading her around and signaling what he wants next. Still, a routine like that represents an enormous amount of work and talent on both their parts.

  • marence

Th dog is obviously enjoying the dancing, but just as obviously is embarrassed by the outfit.

i like how this is rated TV-14

trust me, i watched this show all the time and while mr. kreutzenberger has some very cute fluffy spots on his talk show like this dog, he also has some awful stuff on.

the awful stuff includes the previously mentioned nekkid ladies and explicit interviews with celebrities.

his best shows are the ones where its all night comedy special with lots of comedians sharing stories.

    Dog?
    Which Dog ??

I just saw Sofia Vergara on a couch, smiling at me

That is just too cute for words. The dog looks so happy. I love it when she actually raises her arm to be twirled around. Sweet. Very sweet.

  • anansi133

That’s it: The internet has finally jumped the shark.

  • jeversole

He sure LOOKS like he is enjoying it! No, not creepy at all, very cute.
