Kindle Fire coverage

One thing that strikes me about silly "iPad Killer" headlines is that it's surely not good SEO. People don't go searching for an "iPad Killer", they google "iPad alternative" or "best Android tablet", or some other more likely phrase. "iWhatever Killer" is a writer thing, a way of generating dilemma and drama where little exists. The problem is that it creates an impression that one thing must be understood firstly in terms set by something else: if it's not self-refuting, it'll be the least interesting thing to say about the gadget. And there are more interesting things to say about the new Kindle than whether it will kill the iPad.
