Here's a minute classic Gameboy carved into the base of a toothpick, in a mini-doc about its carving.

爪楊枝でゲームボーイを作ってみた

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

I could have used each slide lasting about a quarter of the time that they were, but the end result is pretty cool.  As is, it kind of just feels like a really slow time-lapse.  Maybe if I could read Japanese?
