I love how in Archie comics everyone faces forward toward ‘camera,’ (or are at worst in profile) even if they are speaking to someone in the background.

  • niktemadur

Archie dovetails nicely with the Army Day towel ad post a few days back.

Go Archie, you da man!  Hello sailor!

  • 10xor01

Heh heh, you said “beat off three other guys.”

When I think of sex and Archie, I generally expect to see Veronica, not Betty.

    • Donald Petersen

If pressed to choose which of them was likely to be slightly more anatomically correct than a Barbie doll ‘neath the swimsuit, I’d have to hazard a Veronica guess as well.  Nothin’ to do with hair color, Betty was just written with a shortage of orifices.

And beat them off he did.  Righteously and with great vigor :)

      Righteously and for great justice!

Judging by the angry looks on their faces, it doesn’t look like he did a very good job of it.

Edit: Although, upon further inspection, the one in the orange shirt looks quite pleased with his end of the bargain.

    Similar, but more disturbing:

I can’t say the one with Alf is that surprising. I always thought it was disturbing for a the title character of a family sitcom to be so obsessed with pussy.

    This batch is wicked…

I actually own this Archie comic, found it for 2 bucks at the antique mall here in Lawrence. Te cover was certainly double-take-worthy… now it’s hanging on the wall in my front room to freak out guests as  walk through the door.

I think http://mitchoconnell.blogspot.de/2012/09/sex-in-comic-part-2-top-100-strangest.html doesn’t count.  That’s a genuine porn comic, I even had an issue back in the 80s, when I was visiting Texel, Netherlands, where stuff like that was openly available. (Same with the smurf cover.)

I love the Boing Boing header, by the way.

Those two *are* a couple, right?

  • kingluma

ah, I need to refresh my set of custom kindle screensavers, and using the best of these will do quite nicely

    • retepslluerb

You need a jailbreak for that, don’t you?

I wonder if the new black one can be jailbroken…

      • kingluma

         I have the most basic Kindle 4 (non-touch) with no ads. I used this info (and 15 minutes of my life) in order to be able to use my own images as Kindle screensavers ;

Thanks. For some weird reason., all I could find how to break the Amazon DRM and claims, that a jailbroken Kindle is wonderful.

Will there be anything from Marvel’s “Giant Size Man-Thing?”

  • benher

    Oh Mitch!!

Seriously though, is there anything you DON’T have in your collection?
