Vintage Books has redesigned its Haruki Murakami backlist with striking covers by Israeli designer/illustrator Noma Bar. The covers -- and there are a dozen more -- are reproductions of Bar's hand-pulled screen prints. "Vintage Murakami"

I’m guessing they’re going to overlook that particular revenue source in favor of beating up on libraries over ebooks or something.

I read his books so many times and get to the first page so quickly, I don’t remember what the cover looks like.
Cool! I just bought 1Q84 yesterday. I’m hoping to get to reading it fairly soon. Those covers are pretty darn kick ass!
The “Norwegian Wood” one is brilliant.
