"NISTAR" is a graphic novel project about a superhero for children with cancer. The Indiegogo fundraiser is close to its goal. I'm pretty picky about cancer-related media, as so much of it tends to exploit—but this one looks really cool.

    Can I also recommend http://www.medikidz.com/, we got their book on Breast Cancer for my 5yo son when my wife was diagnosed and it was a really cool and helpful way for him to understand what was going on.
