Michigan sheriff issues inmates black-and-white striped uniforms


He's worried that "Orange is the New Black" has made orange prisoner uniforms too cool.

Saginaw, MI County Sheriff William Federspiel says the the "lines have been blurred" between streetwear and prison garb, citing a juror who wore all orange to a trial and fashion items stamped "Property of Saginaw County Jail" and says that buying the new uniforms saved the system money (somehow).
