The boxed, hardcover set of William Shakespeare's Star Wars Trilogy, by Ian Doescher, is now available.
Last year, Mark shared an excerpt of this lovely book. I just received the kindle edition and am head over heels, I can't wait to read it to my kid. I will also, likely, be giving several copies of this set as holiday gifts.
Doescher has retold Star Wars, largely in iambic pentameter, as if it were a play written by the Bard. Not a campy or goofy parody but a surprisingly well done tribute, this is a special treat. The art work is also fantastic.
