Honey-dipped nudes: photographer Blake Little's "Preservation"

Photographer Blake Little drenches his human and canine subjects with buckets of real honey.

The results are pretty sweet. In his "Preservation" series, the photographer uses the medium as a sort of liquid amber, and it reminds me a little of poly resin. "The honey has a way of democratizing people, to transform them in kind of a universal way," Little explains in this behind-the-scenes video.

You can order a beautiful print book of the "Preservation" series here. More at the artist's website.
