New Kids On The Block concert goer startlingly disappointed

This hilarious review on SFGate reaffirms what you'd have expected, if you bothered thinking about the New Kids.

After a 10-minute wait that included a video of Danny ("the ugly one") singing a song by himself, and all of NKOTB doing an actual, non-parody toilet paper commercial), the New Kids dramatically took the stage like prizefighters entering a ring. They were wearing modern leather ensembles that Kate described as "aprons" and opened with a new song no one had ever heard of before. The beaming women (and bored husbands) gathered closest to the stage had paid ridiculous sums of money for special VIP access and seemed to be the only ones who knew what the hell was going on. Where was "Hangin' Tough"? Where was "The Right Stuff"? I am here to see NKOTB do their little dance to "Step by Step," not encourage new material.
