Flores's work is similar to Adventure Time, wearing the mutual influences of anime, video games, and high fantasy on their sleeves. But while Adventure Time examines the id of the adolescent boy, the protagonist of Help Us Great Warrior is a fierce and fiercely lazy ass-kicker, comprised equally of Beyoncé, Liz Lemon, and Red Sonja. It's slated to be published as an eight issue miniseries from comics company Boom! Box this February.
