I waited months for my Tiles to show up. I can now find my wallet, keys and my Kindle Voyage.
I'd been meaning to try Tile out, but they were backordered for ever. I misplace things all the time and it drives me crazy. After a 2 month wait for the devices to show up, I'm happy to say it works as advertised. You use an iPhone app to find your items, as you get closer to them a chime plays louder and louder. The whole thing just makes sense.
Do not mistake this for a GPS tracking utility. This is a local area, bluetooth only type of application. Your phone, with the help of the app, will remember the last place it saw each of your deployed tiles — but it doesn't track them live. Great for finding keys lost in the house. Horrible for lost in the world.
I wish Amazon had built an audible chime into my Kindle Voyage. Tile is a simple way to find those things you lose all the time.
