Journalist Ammar Alwaely was filming with a colleague when a bullet tore through his shoulder-mounted GoPro, deflecting it from tearing through him. Contains plenty of NSFW swearing, which seems entirely appropriate.
The bullet basically vaporizes the lens into Alwaely's face and eyes, but he walks away with only minor injuries:
The camera, which was a gift from one of his co-workers, almost certainly saved Mr. Alwaely's life. Ammar received treatment for minor cuts, but was otherwise unharmed.
