Even though the world is beginning to open up slightly, you'll understand my hesitancy to start booking flights. In lieu of actually traveling, I've been content to compile a list of sights and locations for my bucket list. I ain't Anthony Bourdain, but I tend to lean towards places a little off the beaten path. The haunts and locales that call out to natives while concurrently snarling at wannabe tourists who crave the familiar. However, in the case of the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia, I might have to change my stance.
The Salar de Uyuni is a popular tourist attraction—at least for those aware of it— that almost defies description. The naturally occurring salt flats reflect the sterling azure above for miles to provide visitors with an unforgettable vista. In the video linked above, you can check out the salt flats to add them to your list of desired destinations as well.
