The Harmonitree is a fantastic sound art sculpture by artist and composer Sky Macklay. Each Harmonitree consists of a plastic inflatable structure with harmonica pieces attached to the exterior. As it fills with air, the Harmonitrees play various tunes.
I adore how rich the sound of these sculptures are. I didn't expect something so thin and fragile to make such a vibrant sound, but I was pleasantly surprised. These pieces are truly original and mesmerizing, and I want to see them in action, live!
