Today I came across this grave from the future, here on Atlas Obscura. The headstone identifies its occupant as Andreas Morgenrødt, described not only by name but also by the title "Time Traveler." Even stranger are the dates carved into the stone: 1996–2064.
The unusual gravestone was installed in 2015 by artist Karl Troels Sandegaard as part of a public art project. He created the memorial as a playful way of separating himself from his birth name, Morten, because it reminded him of words associated with death. Both an art piece and an intelligent prank, it was done without the cemetery's explicit permission. Luckily, they appreciate the arts and were cool about it.
From Atlas Obscura: 'Technically, fake gravestones aren't allowed in the cemetery, but the city council has let this one stay, calling it a "small poetic story" that doesn't take up much space or cost to maintain. The cemetery is also a popular picnic spot where topless sunbathing sometimes occurs.'
