Eric Reynolds cruelly teases his readers with this tiny jpg of Daniel Clowes' dustjacket for Ivan Brunetti's Anthology of Graphic Fiction, Cartoons and True Stories by Yale Press, avaiable out Oct 13, 2008.

I like these hardcover anthologies quite a lot. They’re really a bargain, given the amount of content, and a treat for those of us whose local comics shops are kind of lame and can only get to a real comics shop a few times a year.

  • Bookyloo

I got to fondle a copy of the proofs at BEA a few months ago…bwa ha ha. The Yale booth at the show also displayed a copy of the cover blown up to poster size. It’s a thing of beauty.

  • justONEguy

Very nice. I hope to see it fuh real at SPX this year. Its a good time for comics as Brunetti put out one of last year’s best comics anthologies and Houghton Mifflin’s annual “Best of American Comics” is improving with each year.

Also, if you prefer your comics anthologies a bit more esoteric, there is an all-gay, all-color one due out this month called Boy Trouble 2.

    Go comics!

Llllook out! But really, the tiny pic is cruel.

Lloyd Llewellyn was cool. That is all I have to say about that.
