Creepy horror maker Undead Ed has a new Zombie Evil Eye ring up for sale and admiring. I've seen plenty of rings made from glass eyes, but this one's definitely the creepiest. In a good way.

Rot Ring Green Zombie evil eye (via Super Punch)

Previously:
  • Mutant teddy bear
  • Giant spider plush toy

I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

    Eye like it.

That’s not a glass eye, it’s completely painted on the surface. Great looking ring.

  • funkadelic73

I am both happy and sad to see that I wasn’t the first (or only) one to immediately think of Beastmaster.

You guys can check great design eye ring from this site

Well, that’s rather creepy! Definitely not one for this Dubli!

  • Richard Kirk

    Bitten nails! Eww!! Gross!!!

    Neat ring, though.

  • MoeJoe

I need to get two of these, put one on my ring finger and one on my index finger and dangle my middle finger.

    A zombie Señor Wences!

Waht are you all talking about?! Zombies & Beastmaster are AWESOME! Nice ring! I want one.

  • IamInnocent

I’d like it as a rubbery doorbell button that you’d press right on the iris…

  • cowtown

Makes me want to poke it with a hot stick, then take up damsel-rescuing and ferret-breeding.

    • nanuq

Damn, now I’m having Beastmaster flashbacks!

  • dogrocket

Badly painted. Clumsily executed. Amateurish. The things that pass for “attractive” here elude me completely.

    • Tdawwg

It’s camp, kitsch, which have their own aesthetic values, not necessarily those that you’d share or want (“well painted,” “well executed,” etc.). “Creepiest” =/= “attractive.” Do you have a long tradition of masterfully crafted Zombie Evil Eye Rings against which you’re unfavorably comparing this? Or don’t you get the aesthetics of schlocky camp horror?

I like how the grey foldy-skin, errrm, “shaft” of the ring reminds me of something else…. another “one-eyed zombie monster,” if you will…. Now that’s a ring I’d wear, proudly! But this ring is awfully (in all senses) lovely.

      • dogrocket

Sorry, I don’t mean to be a hater, and re-reading my comment, it was pissy. Apologies all ’round.

This particular eyeball ring (and they are legion) just doesn’t do it for me, and I can’t see why this one is worthy of note.

Try a google image search on “eyeball ring” to see many hundreds.

But it has “zombie” in the name and zombies are megahot these days. Doesn’t that make it cool and desirable to you?

      Yeah, me neither.

  • JonStewartMill

It kind of reminds me of something by Ed “Big Daddy” Roth.
