I heard that if you won you’d just be sent a bobcat, so no harm done.

Good night, Westley. Sleep well. I’ll most likely kill you in the morning.

You’re so vain… I bet you think this eBay auction is about you… don’t you…

FTL: “Art > Direct from the Artist > Other”

Either jaybuysthings is Banksy, or that listing is in the wrong category. I’m not sure which is more likely.

This sounds like that old (MacPaint rendered) comic “Shatter” where every one is a “Temp”: as in you are only temporarily you until you win an auction on a new identity.

Seller has 100% positive feedback. IT’S LEGIT!

“This listing (260719875075) has been removed, or this item is not available.”

Well, that didn’t last long. Anyone screencap it?

  8. Anonymous says:

    seems the listing was removed

since it’s rumored that there’s more than one banksy, that would be quite a trick.

It’s been removed, I don’t think ebay allows the selling of someone’s identity. So that’s that.

I thought Banksy’s identity had already been confirmed as Robin Gunningham from Bristol.

The Daily Mail found out everything about him (or said that they had):
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1034538/Graffiti-artist-Banksy-unmasked—public-schoolboy-middle-class-suburbia.html

None of the other press ever mention this, because I think having a mystery man makes him seem more interesting.
