NewImage ProjectKate of Minieco made this cute key holder from Legos that she raided from her son's Lego box. It would be fun to make a set for the entire family.

Clearly, some will not be happy until humanity is ruled, or even replaced, by minifigures.
I’m playing safe with an early “I, for one, welcome …”

“Made” is sort of a strong word here, isn’t it?  It’s just sticking three lego pieces together.

    • Glen Able

Yeah, you can pretty much imagine that a whirlwind passing through a lego junkyard might accidentally put one of these together.

Personally I would have had a dreadful tantrum if my parents had stolen one of my good 6 by 8 grey pieces and a lego man for such a trivial purpose.

This! Get your own Lego and keep your hot glue gunning hands away from my Storm Troopers!!!! (I hope she bought a new set for her son.)

          It’s Stormtrooper™.

I never thought of using Lego as a quick and easy velcro solution. Simplicity at it’s best.

My version has a letter holder: https://twitter.com/nnodstrum/status/273820153286889473

Nice. From which set is the lattice/letter holder?

Not sure as it is all second hand Lego but I think it is from the Pirate theme.

I know that I’m fighting against a rising tide here… but the plural of Lego is Lego! The Lego company used to have a page clarifying this on their site but it got lost in a redesign and now I’m just a ranting denizen of the Internet trying to convince others from anecdote.

Something similar made the rounds on Pinterest/Facebook a few days ago. Neat idea no matter what.
