    Sugar Magnolia uber alles!

The Black Flag one is better. Obviously.

    • Navin_Johnson

I think this works better because both bands are from San Francisco. It presents a nice juxtaposition of the two local cultural fringes.

  • Paul Coleman

I want that retroactively.  The sixteen year old me was into all that.  Now…it just screams “I am OLD” just like the white in my beard.

    • Brian Karlak

The sixteen-year-old me just gave the sixteen-year-old you a high five. And then passed you a freshly-loaded bong.

I predict “Grateful Dead Kennedys” will never show up as a solution to a “before and after” puzzle on Wheel of Fortune.

I have a patch on my ‘too many pockets’ vest that I now realise is a Grateful Dead logo
    0_o.
Darn it. I really did like that patch. Red & Black – Skull & yingyang.
As a lifelong fan of the DKs – this is all a little disturbing for me.

    • Roose_Bolton

      Just roll with it, man.

They better be paying all sorts of royalties.

Hey, any time you can get a DKs shirt for much under $1000 it’s a good deal.
    Paper thin! http://www.ebay.ca/itm/1981-DEAD-KENNEDYS-PAPER-THIN-VTG-T-SHIRT-black-flag-/350473774629?pt=Vintage_Unisex_T_Shirts&

Or, you know, a Dead shirt for under $5000 o_O

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but I cannot afford to continue to take losses on shipping.

When you sell a 43-year-old t-shirt for five grand?  You’re not taking any losses on shipping.

    • .

I better cash in my paper thin Holiday in Cambodia shirt!

  • Frédéric Eloy

There used to be a french band with the same name, they called their music “bug-core”, i.e  noisier breakcore, pushing music software till it bugged in order to create chaos. They were pretty “good”.

  • Donald Petersen

I’d be more likely to spend $20 on an AC/DC Comics shirt.  If, you know, I found such a thing.

  • paulehoffman

It’s a great shirt, but not a new idea. I definitely saw something like this (skull with DK logo) on the New Year’s run in Oakland, 1982. I didn’t buy one, but I saw a few people at the shows who did.

I’d like a Grateful Dead Milkmen shirt. Or a Grateful Dead Boys shirt. Imagine the possibilities!

    • Cowicide

Another vote for Grateful Dead Milkmen shirt to go along with this shirt.

Hmmmmmm maybe a Grateful Dead Milkmen shirt would have those cute psychadelic bears be cows instead.  That would LITERALLY make my life.  You rule!

  • mike_rg

You will know them by the trail of grateful dead…
