Suzy sez, "I'm continuing my mission to author feminist musical theatre -- over the last decade I've had my work performed in New York, Chicago, Toronto, L.A, and Seattle. My latest effort is titled CHICK FLICK THE MUSICAL and it opens in New York this week."
It's rom-com theatre at its best -- with a focus on female friendship and the importance of honesty. It's still in showcase mode, so this is a chance to see the birth of a new piece. There are only 4 performances: Thursday, February 13 at 8pm; Friday, February 14 at 2pm (Matinee) and 8pm; and Saturday, February 15 at 8pm. All performances will be at Loft 227 @ 227 W 29th Street (between 7th & 8th Ave) in New York, NY. Tickets are only $15.
The show has a great list of Broadway musical theatre names: Jenna Leigh Green (Wicked, Sabrina The Teenage Witch), Luba Mason (Chicago, Jekyll and Hyde), Trisha Rapier (Sister Act, The Boy From Oz), and Haley Swindal (Jekyll and Hyde, White Christmas).
