The 2015 24 Hour event has come and gone. Lots of pictures were taken…so why not start it off with a sunrise shot!
I showed up to the castle just after 6:00 am and was not surprised to find no less than a dozen other photographers there lined up for this shot. The spot I had wanted was over-run by others, so I decided to slide a bit over and fire off a few test shots. An hour had passed and I had noticed that a LARGE amount of the photographers have gotten bored and moved on…I guess not realizing that sunrises require a bit of patience.
Noticing that a better angle had opened up, I quickly relocated and waited. Just when the time was right, I captured this shot.
Lesson of the day: Be Patient.
