If you've ever wanted to put on a one person show, and you're in or around San Francisco next weekend, Jane Morris' workshop is the one for you! Aside from being talented, intelligent, and one of the most delightful people to work with that you'll ever meet, she also helps folks put up amazing shows!

The workshop is to be held from 2pm-5pm at the Un-Scripted Theater, in San Francisco. Here is some more information about Jane from their website:

Jane Morris is the co-founder of the Second City ETC in Chicago and the Artistic Director of the fanaticSalon in Los Angeles. Besides her own solo show, Jane has directed many solo performances that have had great success across the country in theaters and at festivals including Liz Femi's "Take Me to the Poorhouse" winner of the Best International Show Award at this year's Hollywood Fringe Festival and Steve Mize's "Life Audited" winner of the Best Comedy Performance and the United Solo Festival in New York. She has been teaching and directing writer/performers for most her her long career. You can find Jane's full resume of acting credits on IMDB.

I've mentioned Jane on Boing Boing a number of times. I really do think that the chance to work with her, even for two hours, is a pretty wonderful opportunity. Later that night, Jane'll be performing with the All Girl Revue, one of the best improv troupes around.

Another amazing performer to check out, in town for the SF Improv Festival, is Susan Messing.

These are two of the funniest, and best improvisational actors I've ever seen. Their workshops can't miss.
