From the wonderful, refreshingly bullshit-free marketing guy Seth Godin (Seth Godin, a new online course on marketing, called (simply enough), "The Marketing Seminar."
Marketing — getting people to care about something that matters to you — is the hard problem of publishing, politics, religion, and, of course, advertising. Godin is better at it than anyone I know. The seminar kicks off on May 5.
Every other day for 100 days, new video material is added to the seminar. Every day, you'll be able to engage with other students, post your work, develop your perspective and get ever closer to making the impact you seek.
Once you've joined the seminar, you can start when you like and participate in any part of the seminar that's been posted. The seminar unfolds week after week, and you can take it at your own pace. The seminar won't work without your active participation though, so plan on about 30 minutes to an hour each day you spend in the seminar.
Seth Godin has a lifetime of hands-on experience in creating marketing that works. In this practical seminar, you'll learn to understand the changes that have transformed the world of marketing, and even better, how to put these concepts to work for you.
