Trump's top economic advisor couldn't bear to listen to the president bloviate so he pretended he had a bad connection and hung up

Gary Cohn is one of the gators Trump brought in to fill the swamp, a delusional, big-mouthed, ex-Goldman Sachs banker who gets to regulate Goldman Sachs.

While discussing the GOP tax plan with Senator Tom Carper (D-DE), Cohn got a call from Donald Trump, who was in Asia. After an hour of Trump's meaningless blather, Cohn asked Carper for advice on getting off the phone. Carper advised him to tell Trump that he was a genius, then say that the connection was failing, and hang up the phone.

That's what Gary Cohn did.
