Dr. Tom Frieden, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention between 2009 and 2017, was arrested today on charges of forcible touching, sex abuse, and harassment. Frieden allegedly groped a woman in October. She reported the assault in July. Frieden also served as New York City Health Commissioner.
