Remember when terrorists attempting to overthrow the government on January 6 swept through the U.S. Capitol chanting "Hang Mike Pence" and erecting gallows in front of the Capitol steps?
Well, Mike Pence wants the media to stop reporting on these fine Americans because it hurts their feelings. Pence appeared on Hannity and said:
I know the media wants to distract from the Biden administration's failed agenda by focusing on one day in January. They want to use that one day to try and demean the character and intentions of 74 million Americans who believed we could be strong again and prosperous again and supported our administration in 2016 and 2020.
Saying it was just "one day" and so it should be brushed off is like saying how wonderful a school shooter was except for that "one day" where he slaughtered a bunch of people.
Hannity jutted his simian chin in approval at Pence's remarks.
