On the Isle of Wight, some pranksters hacked public electric vehicle charging stations to display porn on the screens as people charged their cars. Apparently the displays had originally been programmed to only show official Isle of Wight County content.
"The council would like to apologise to anyone that may have found the inappropriate web content, and for any inconvenience from chargepoints out of action," a government spokesperson told the Isle of Wight County Press.
