TikToker Rebecca Larsen tells the Karen origin story like no other. Watch (below) as she so amazingly explains how these victims, who start off as "young, pretty, conservative women," buy into an ideology that gaslights them. This causes their eventual transformation from "inherently superior" women to discarded trophy wives to rage-filled "middle-aged women with a pert haircut and great botox." But no matter how much botox, in the end it's never a pretty story. In fact, this one is a tragedy.
