Failed former Speaker Kevin McCarthy has a new spring in his step now that the latest House nominee, Tom Emmer, fell even harder than he did.
After Emmer received a whopping 26 "no" votes today from his fellow Republican colleagues, McCarthy proudly bragged about his own miserable loss — aka the speakership — telling a reporter, "I only had eight against me." (See video below, posted by Aaron Rupar.)
