What? Martha didn’t have a normal demi tasse size cup in her kitchen for espresso? How could that be?

  • Xopher

    Marktha Stuartfelder!

  • technogeek

Misread the headline as “My Martha Stewart _appliance_ is on line”, which is also sorta true but conjures up other thoughts.

  • nheasley

Great segment, Mark. It was a lot of fun. I’m not usually a Martha fan, but now that I realize she’s really a Maker too, I might have to start watching more.

  • doggo

    That was fun!

    great job mark!

  • js7a

I still LOL whenever I remember when she had Snoop Dogg on!

  • Anonymous

Great job! Looks like Martha had a lot of fun with it, too :)

  • AirPillo

Good job, Mark! that was one of the more fun guest appearances I’ve seen on her show.

  • TroofSeeker

That was a great, entertaining segment, Mark. The shirt alone says “I don’t do this often…”.
Maybe Martha has lit the afterburners of your Rapid Rise In Popularity Missile, and you’ll be Dancing With The Stars soon! You can demonstrate your rocket skates in the freestyle dance! …you can’t do worse than Steve O did.

  • Stefan Jones

Really well done. I think Martha enjoyed it and Mark did a great job.

Notice that Martha repeatedly pitches Boing Boing rather than Make: Online!

  • mackenzi

    Damn! Who’s her pimp?

  • Xopher

What a fun guy you must be, Mark! You have the voice of a Sunday-school teacher, and it’s fun to hear that voice saying “just buy a toy and rip it apart”!

  • orselli

    Nice job Mark!

Martha seemed to be enjoying your stuff.

  • wolfiesma

Roast your Own! HAHA! Great Job!!

mark, YOU ARE CUTE AS A BUTTON!

That is one industrial-looking breast-pump you’ve got Martha hooked up to there Mark…

  • Fang Xianfu

Great interview, I really enjoyed seeing all these great Make projects in action :D

Unfortunate choice of shirt, though – it doesn’t compress very well in whatever codec they’re using.

“Great segment, Mark. It was a lot of fun. I’m not usually a Martha fan, but now that I realize she’s really a Maker too, I might have to start watching more.”

What did you think Martha does, if not arts and crafts and “DIY?” It’s the exact same thing as your Maker with a capital M (I’m sorry, but ugh) movement, just with different marketing.

  • minamisan

Did she try to take your wallet?

  • mackenzi

@MINAMISAN: Martha Stewart is nice!! Shhh…

  • IamInnocent

That is the most I’ve ever been able to watch of Martha S. in my whole life. :)
Well done and entertaining on the whole.

  • arkizzle

    Stewartfelder..

Fields of Scots? That sounds like Braveheart :)

  • AirPillo

The funny thing is I’ve seen a number of guests on her show where Martha herself occasionally appears not to be genuinely interested or entertained. I guess if you do what she does for so long some of it loses its fun.

This wasn’t one of those times it seems.

Did you guys chat off-camera at all? Is she as nice as her on-air personality?
