I write books. My latest is a YA science fiction novel called Homeland (it's the sequel to Little Brother). More books: Rapture of the Nerds (a novel, with Charlie Stross); With a Little Help (short stories); and The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow (novella and nonfic). I speak all over the place and I tweet and tumble, too.

This will be a hit for children party. A super Mario themed cupcakes will never go out of style. Simply adorable and fun. Though the process might be tricky, still the end result is amazing!

@nairanvac fondant is what hostess cupcakes and black and white cookies are covered in (if you’re not from the East Coast/New York that probably doesn’t help). Fudge is also basically just chocolate fondant, but a little softer and less sugary. Its actually quite good, and the texture is one of my favorite things from childhood.
