In the still-growing Boing Boing DIY Hallowe'en Costume thread, Boing Boing reader Fumbata says,

Fleece, felt, foam, fake fur, and a hell of a lot of hot glue = Swedish Chef. It turned out pretty good, so I made a video. Have a great Halloween!

Cutest doggie ever.

    OMFG!!! Next to the creepy ladymask snickers lady, this is one of the most genuinely terrifying costumes I’ve seen. Running away in 5 . . . 4 . . . 3 . . . 2 . . .

  • Homingpigen

I love this. Also, excellent Swedish Chef impersonation. (can you impersonate a Muppet?)

  • Kosmoid

Better not let Lisbeth see this.

    Thought balloon for the dog:

“I’m re-thinking that ‘unconditional love’ thing.”

  • ackpht

The dog, of course, is just wondering what the hell this is all about.

the performance reminds of Paul McCarthy’s stuff (the L.A. based performance artist not the Beatles) In Bossy Burger he dresses up as Alfred E. Nauman and makes hamburger from himself and of course the muppets… err gnuppets.
Some of McCarthy’s stuff is online:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76YkbsSiZk4
NSFW in some cases ubu web has the entirety of his painter video online.
    If you’re looking for more muppet-ee creepiness…
