      Isn’t it possible that they would have done this with any article of clothing they received? Seems weird to point out they were sniffing her underwear unless it was the only thing that the folks in that crowd cared about.

    Strange, but generous I suppose. Obviously the family knew the fans might derive some measure of comfort/closeness from those clothes.
