Zoltan Kohari, known as the Slovak Batman, poses in his home in the town of Dunajska Streda, 34 miles (55 km) south of Bratislava. Kohari, who is 26 years old, lives alone in an abandoned building without water, heat or electricity. For local residents he became known as "the hero in a Batman's costume." While he has not fought crime yet, he does believe in justice and wants to help the police. In the mean time, Kohari, who is poor, does what he can to help the residents to make their daily life easier. In return, some of these residents give him food. Wait a minute. . .  his name is “Zoltan Kohari” and his superhero name isn’t “Zoltan?”

    What a F%$#-ing  waste!

    • Bill Walsh

That’s because you don’t mess with the Zoltan.

    • Antinous / Moderator

      Zoltan’s a common name. I’ve known several.

      • Brainspore

Batman is a real name too. It’s not a common one yet, but give it a few more years.

  • Layne

You call that a utility belt, Zoltan?!?

Copyright infringement lawsuit coming from Warner Bros/D.C. Comics in 5…4…3…2…

  • Lobster

I love how the bat symbol has ANOTHER bat symbol on it.  He’s like Batmanman.

    • Brainspore

I bet he’s also wearing the underoos under the costume.

  • Thad Boyd

Brazilian Batman, Slovak Batman…man, Morrison’s really promoting the hell out of that Batman Incorporated comic.

  • PhosPhorious

Yeah. . .  I think Inception also has a case against him.

We all know about the new Dark Knight movie this year…  Why must the producers advertise to the slums of Slovakia for more revenue?  sheesh.. talk about scrapping bottom!

    • Lobster

Burn on the people of Slovakia?:  Czech.

      • Antinous / Moderator

        Prahaha.

  • HahTse

“Something that is the something of something isn’t really anything of anything.”

    Cool guy, though.

  • geth

When asked about his motivation, he screamed “Moji rodičia sú mŕtvi!!!!!!!”

    I’m a bad person.

  • Tom_Has_Doubts

Slovak Batman makes me sad.  :(

    Doesn’t make sense.

    Batman’s power was his money.

So this guy is just a good person, he doesn’t need a cape.

  • niktemadur

Personally, I find the synopsis coupled with the image that Xeni posted, incredibly poignant.
So the man found a way to make sense of his life, with a heavy dash of flair.
    More power superpower to him!
