Dalek impersonator performs "King of the Tardis"

Martyn Crofts's appearance on Britain's Got Talent is the best thing I've ever seen on TV: he put a pot on his head and did a wicked Dalek impersonation while singing (shouting) a version of Roger Miller's "King of the Road," ("King of the Tardis"). Britain does indeed got talent.

  1. I saw this the other day and thought it was brilliant.

ETA – I should hire him to do the audio book of my Dalek porno.

      1.  It’s not done yet. I have the ending, however:

“We are a superior endowed species! Ejaculate! EJACULATE!”

      1. Lies. Everyone knows the Daleks are gay – http://youtu.be/AWiq-0rf_bA [NSFW]

  2. Was I alone in expecting something to the tune of “If I Were King of the Forest” from “The Wizard of Oz”?

  3. I misread the post as “Roger Mellie’s “King of the Road,”” and was expecting something very, very different.

    1. Because that act would have gone far, right?  I loved it, but once you do the chorus once, the joke has run its course.

        1. Actually, I thought he *did* get it, but then his sense of superiority took over and he realized sci-fi wasn’t cool enough, so that’s when he pushed the buzzer.

          1.  Well he is the only person that when he goes in for a colonoscopy they only ask him to take off his shirt..
