San Francisco's favorite chain is hitting the big show, with plans to expand by 50% over the next year, according to TechCrunch.
The line at Philz is always long. No matter if you're going to the one on Shattuck in Berkeley, or closet sized shop in the Castro. And with their wares already available on Virgin America flights, it's kind of no surprise that they're expanding even more.
The last über popular, Bay Area chain to go big, La Boulange, was pretty disappointing for locals. Now we can only catch glimpses of what they once were, with gross, pastry-cased goods at every Starbucks everywhere. So hopefully, Philz will stay Philz. Because Philz is pretty delicious.
