Police respond to gunfire that was actually TV gunfire

On Wednesday, police in Cologne, Germany responded to multiple reports of gunfire at an apartment complex in the city's Ehrenfeld district. Multiple units surrounded two residences and searched the area. Eventually, the discovered the truth and order was restored. From Polizei NRW Köln:

After an added lockdown service opened a locked door, the reason behind the shooting was quickly found. A man fell asleep in front of the TV at full volume in the middle of an action movie. After this situation was obviously cleared up, the police officers dedicated themselves to the now awakened man, who is not reported at the address. As he gave conflicting information about his identity, police officers took him to the station. After his personal details were determined, they released the 34-year-old again.
