Anita Hill voting for Joe Biden, willing to work on gender violence and equality issues with him if elected

“It's more about the survivors of gender violence. That's really what it's about.” — Anita Hill

CNN teased their upcoming two-hour campaign doc "Fight for the White House: Joe Biden's Long Journey," (September 7 at 8 p.m. ET.) with this whopper of a clip from Anita Hill.

Not only does Hill plan to vote for Biden — she's also willing to work with him on gender equality issues, should Biden become president.

"Notwithstanding all of his limitations in the past, and the mistakes that he made in the past, notwithstanding those — at this point, between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, I think Joe Biden is the person who should be elected in November," Hill tells CNN's Gloria Borger in the documentary.

Not just because Biden is running against Donald Trump, she goes on to explain.

"It's more about the survivors of gender violence. That's really what it's about."

If that means voting for and working with Joe Biden, "so be it."

"My commitment is to finding solutions, and I am more than willing to work with him," Hill says — she hopes to work on issues of sexual harassment, gender violence and gender discrimination with the administration, should he win.

"I want the next president to be somebody that I can go to and talk about the real issues that women, men, and non-binary people are experiencing with violence in this country, that's directed to them because of their gender," Hill says.

"I believe that Joe Biden would be that person. I do not believe that Donald Trump would be the person who would hear me."
