Cybertrucks are rusting

If nothing else, the Cybertruck looks cool, despite supply issues and the looming threat of getting your fingers cut off. That stainless steel finish is absolutely immaculate… for a few months, at least, according to a crop of dissatisfied posts on the Cybertruck Owners' Club forums.

The above image, according to the user that posted it on the forums, is the result of simply driving the Cybertruck around in the rain. These persistent orange marks can't be washed off by hand, and the OP was told that the rust would simply have to be buffed out. Again- from doing nothing but driving it in the rain.

It seems Cybertruck owners are learning the hard way why cars are typically painted. Maybe Elon should have focused on having it stop raindrops instead of arrows.
