Sirens of the Lambs: Banksy's shrieking-squeaking toy-stuffed meat van tours New York

This weekend, puttering around in Brooklyn in the wake of New York Comic-Con, Heather and I saw the strangest thing: a sinister-looking truck loaded with stuffed, loudly-squeaking animal toys, tooling down the street. We went through the possibilities. PETA, perhaps? An advertising campaign? Turns out that it's Banksy!

Mysterious British street artist Banksy, infiltrating New York with "Better Out Than In," on Friday introduced "Sirens of the Lambs." It's art in motion. A slaughterhouse delivery truck is filled with plush animal toys, squeaking through the slatted boards of the truck. This display on wheels will be "touring the meatpacking district and then citywide for the next two weeks," according to the Banksy website.

The video is blocked from being played anywhere except YouTube: even the embed on Banksy's own website throws a copyfail message! Which is … interesting. So here's the video link, for what it's worth.
