Marcel Duchamp's rare chess-set has been recreated as freely downloadable 3D print-files on Thingiverse, where the community is actively remixing them.
The original Art Deco 1918 set is a rarity that Duchamp carved in Buenos Aires. Readymake is the set's 3D printable recreation, created by Scott Kildall and Bryan Cera from archival photos.
The original Thingiverse file has been downloaded over 3,000 times, and has spawned remixes like this one, with self-supporting overhangs.
