Iridescent insect sculptures from ewaste

UK artist Julie Alice Chapell's Computer Component Bugs sculptures are iridescent, intricate assemblage sculptures made from ewaste.

Chapell was inspired by a box of electronic components donated to a crafting centre in Portsmouth, later augmented by the cast-offs from someone else's failed robot-building project. From these discards emerged a gorgeous phylum of electronic arthropods. At $100-$150 (£65-100) each, these are remarkably reasonably priced for original sculptures, too.
