White House: Trump hospitalized, "will work from the hospital's presidential offices "

Donald Trump, a day after announcing his Covid-19 diagnosis, is being taken to Walter Reed hospital suffering from symptoms of the disease. Marine One is on the lawn, generating spectacular live footage on Cable TV, but that is his preferred method of transit for even short trips.

The White House issued a statement:

President Trump remains in good spirits, has mild symptoms, and has been working throughout the day.

Out of an abundance of caution, and at the recommendation of his physician and medical experts, the president will be working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days.

President Trump appreciates the outpouring of support for both he and the first lady.

UPDATE: "According to the White House, the president will work from the hospital's presidential offices out of "an abundance of caution" following earlier news of his positive COVID-19 test."
